So I came across this person on Facebook who's uncle was building an internet/gaming cafe years ago and since passed away. He purchased almost $200,000 worth of equipment and a lot of it was never even opened. Were talking this guy has 30 x GTX 580 Gpus and almost the same number of x58 systems! I managed to make a deal with him for a couple pieces I thought were super cool that were unopened and/or unused.
Sadly the gear has sat for a few years and is a bit too outdated now to be useful (especially the gpus) but I was curious if I'm dreaming or would this stuff be worth something to a collector?

I picked up a gigabyte G1.assassin and a g1.guerrillla and a completely factory sealed i7 990X!!
Maybe im getting ahead of myself but I was super stoked especially on the cpu. Now I was about to build a system with the assassin board and the 990x but I am actually thinking the cpu is likely worth more still in the box than it is in a built system.

What do you guys think???IMG_20200913_232242.jpgIMG_20200913_232245.jpgIMG_20200913_231649.jpgIMG_20200913_231729.jpg

My gut tells me its not worth a collectors premium, but who knows what people will throw money at? Try ebay and find out!

That stuff is kinda old and could blow up in your face anytime, that's the problem. But at least has usb 3.0 I would purchase one mobo just to pair it with a hex core Xeon like X5670 and ovc the hell of it !
