Oh I wanted to add if you want to test riser stability you can run speedway stress test. My friend at Fractal said that's what they use to determine what risers to use.

outa all the x570 boards iv used (Asus Strix x570 itx)x5 none have had any issues using the riser cable in the Ghost S1 (pcie Gen 4) and even generic ones if used from amazon.

but did u had a lot of not working risers? like 2/2 until now don't work. I ordered a third one from linkup now.

only one that didn't work for me was a off brand pcie x4 riser i was trying to mount a pcie ssd in a diff spot that didn't work but once i got a evga one in place no issues. harvested the blue pcie gen 4 from one of my ghost rigs as fragile as this one looks it has been flawless on the last x570 board i have left and the x299 Asus WS Sage board i use for a test bench.

if you keep getting cables that dont work only other option i could see is if you have a separate board to test with isolate if its your current board or the cables.
