I had a 5 yr old AX1200i in my older 9900K build; started having issues with random shut downs and then not being able to power-up ....after sitting for a week come back it powers up runs fine for 4 or 5 days then shits down.
Self Test proved intermittent, sometimes would work sometimes no.

Had cheaper 850w psu kicking around so slapped that in all good, no issues and running fine for 3 weeks.
But thats not the story.....found the electronic receipt from Newegg, paid $369 for it (5.5 yrs ago), when thru the RMA process as it is a 10 yr Warranty.
No issues, Corsair sent me an RMA Return label, cost me $40 to ship it to North Carolina (I think it was), a week later and got my replacement.
Obviously they no longer make the AX1200i ....though I would get an HX1200.....they sent me a "refurb" AX 1600i.

I have no issues with refurbs based upon experience with a few GPU's from Evga.
I'm quite pleased as that is a great psu, I have been running the same one in my current water cooled build for a few years now.

Thats a few times now over 15 yrs that Corsair has come thru for me with no issues !

Good story, and good outcome, but I'm left wondering if the above was a typo, or intentional? 🤣

My experience with their keyboards and commander was horrible. But their PSU team does seem to be more reliable.
