Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080 10GB LHR had a lowest price of $950 in the last 2 years. So considering FE is less desirable and no warranty, I would say $800? That's bumping right up against a new MSI Ventux X2 4070 Ti which is priced at $900 before tax. Considering in some cases both cards are pretty close while in some 4070 TI got about 20% performance gain, hard to say if $800 is even a fair price.

True, you would be competing against used cards but I think you could swing a small amount more than mined cards that are on FBM.

TBH I can't see anyone buying one for $800. I don't think BNIB counts for much when the card came out 4 years ago. I've seen a Strix OC (top tier card) listed for $500 for 3 weeks now on FB and hasn't sold.

Exactly! That, and ISTR @queenofparts was selling a handful of 3090s on here a while back, for ~$700 - $800, and IIRC, the last one or two were priced at $600, so would anyone here actually pay $800 for a 3080, in spite of being "BNIB", as mentioned, with zero warranty? If sold on FBM, it's still kinda doubtful.....

Isn't RTX performance a lot worse on the 3000 series compared to the 4000 series too? I think power efficiency improved as well.

I think it'll be hard selling a last-gen card at current-gen pricing. I'm assuming the warranty has ran out, and if it's truly still sealed, who's to say it even works? If I was buying, I think I'd ask for you to open it and test it first.

I would think a more realistic price would be 50% of the cost of a new 4070Ti, so probably in the realm of $400.

If it is a LHR model the BNIB doesn't mean much as far as mining goes. Friend picked up a 3080TI for ~$500 more than a year ago. I can't see it being worth more than a TI BNIB or not.

yeah price wise, even $600 is a bit steep. Nothing special abount this card anymore. 12GB model I can see would have a bit more value. So $500 or $550 would be the margin.

Yeah, it's a bit of a tough call - on one hand, at the right price, I'd be interested in such a card, but if it was in the "$500 - $550" range, I'd have to seriously think about what another $150 - $200 could get me instead, i.e. better performance, more VRAM, and a warranty.....
