RTX5000 Reviews

not a review...but RTX 5050 / 5060 & 5060 Ti deets have also surfaced.

the 5060 / 5060 Ti could have an edge over the 9060 / 9060 XT as they're using GDDR7, not GDDR6 like the Radeon's are.

Interesting. Definitely a theoretical advantage, but we will see in a few months what it means in actual games…and what pricing and availability are like.

RTX 5080 tested in physX. The loss of support will destroy any ability to play a game using physX now that they have abandoned it. Better performance out of an rtx980.

Shortsighted. But, then certainly someone will come out with a 3rd party driver? Or does it even work like that? IDK.

Watched the video. Honestly if it's only an issue for 15 yo games, I dont see a problem here. That's a good run. Just turn it off and run it like an AMD card.

Yeah it was cool when it was more widely supported, I had a dedicated card for PhysX years ago, but I haven't had it in any of the games I've played for a long time, and I've been on an AMD GPU, two of their gens now, for several years and no complaints.

If the tech wasn't being supported by newer game devs I could see why NVIDIA wouldn't keep moving it forward to newer GPUs.

5060 and 5060Ti delayed a bit. Now expecting mid-April for the 5060Ti and mid-May for the 5060.

Then there will be more overpriced and unavailable cards for people to look at reviews of!

I've honestly skipped every nearly every review and only looked at the summary of the 5090 and 5080 cards. It's such a bad value proposition that I don't really care how they do in game X.

Shame it's such a crap market for anyone trying to get into the hobby now. We've got some actual value and competition in the CPU end only for GPUs to go fully bonkers.
