RTX5000 Reviews

So what's the markup on this gimmick? I'm sure you could just buy a mini bubble level tool and a GPU support bracket for $30 out the door.

NO GPU FOR YOU GIJIN! So it looks like you need a Japanese resident card to buy a 5080 and 5090 in a specific store or chain in Japan. I mean Americans used to hate Vancouver people going down to their Costco to buy their cheap eggs and milk when the dollar was at par like 10 years ago.

EDIT: to clarify that it's only seen in one store in Japan

interesting...the 8GB model of the 5060 Ti suffers when used on a PCIe 4.0 slot.

Nvidia rumored to be stopping 5090D orders for China.

yeh...so many ways that any restricted product can get into China, especially when China wants that particular product. :P

Ehhhh, China has a huge population that loves going around requirements, laws or sales bans and you can bet a lot of them are snapping up any supply that was meant for Japan. Not really surprised and I don't disagree with Japan on this one.

I'd liken it to if Canada was only issued 1000 F-150s a year and American's could come and buy them for a massive discount and have it practically delivered to their door. Lots of people and companies would be fuming that they couldn't get a work truck (or urban cowboy cosplay vehicle).

No drivers for 5060 8GB until launch day, so no pre-release reviews. Given how bad the 5060Ti 8GB is, I'm waiting for more negative reviews.
