Apparently didn't horde enough for Nvidia, they wrote down $5.5B in inventory. AMD wrote down about $800M.
yeh...so many ways that any restricted product can get into China, especially when China wants that particular product.Nvidia rumored to be stopping 5090D orders for China.

Ehhhh, China has a huge population that loves going around requirements, laws or sales bans and you can bet a lot of them are snapping up any supply that was meant for Japan. Not really surprised and I don't disagree with Japan on this one.NO GPU FOR YOU GIJIN! So it looks like you need a Japanese resident card to buy a 5080 and 5090 in a specific store or chain in Japan. I mean Americans used to hate Vancouver people going down to their Costco to buy their cheap eggs and milk when the dollar was at par like 10 years ago.

the B580 is essentially Intel's version of the RX / RTX #050 level GPU and it beats the 5060 Ti 8GB...granted, that's not to say it means a lot, but there you go!*Cough* lobsters *Cough*
