3900X - $679
3800X - $549
3700X - $449
3600X - $339
3600 - $279

I have this on very good authority from someone in the organization. It's obviously still subject to change, but this is a safe bet for release within $20 I would say.

No word on the 3950X though? USD pricing seems to be +250 from the 3900X, so I guess it'll be at least $999 here.

But those prices seem logical, they're pretty close to the raw USD to CAD conversion.

I'm not really in the market for a new processor so I haven't been paying all that much attention... that said... the 3700X is a 12C/24T mainstream processor at a sub-$500 price?

That sir, looks like an enthusiast's wet dream if you ask me.... :)

3700X has a way lower TDP as well. I have a feeling that thing is going to overclock like a champ ... new 2500k like champion that we can use for 10 years ;)

The 3800X price is rough, but it’s pretty much what I paid for the 3930k when it came out. Still no plans to move up from my 4790k at this time.

Yeah. $100 pre overclock tax.

SSW is right though, the 3700x looks like the enthusiast price/perk sweet spot.

I'm still trying to convince myself to not upgrade...

with 16 cores / 32 threads...soon homelab's can use a single computer to do everything!
Heh, exactly what I've been thinking. Consolidate down into 1 "powerful" system. Currently running an i5-6400 and i5-7500, based on my UPS, that's 4kWh on average per day. Not a huge amount, but still if I could cut that in half and gain 4x threads...

Wait a minute... not sure what source I was looking at (it was some kind of chart) to come up with 12C/24T for the 3700X.... according to AMD it's 8C/16T. The 3900X is listed as 12C/24T.
