Techspot is reporting that Samsung is following Micron and SanDisk in raising DRAM and NAND prices. LPDDR4X, LPDDR5, LPDDR5X will increase by 15 to 30 percent while NAND storage such as eMMC and UFS will increase by 5 to 10 percent. Reason is due to increase demand for smartphones, AI PCs, and tablets for holiday season. Another one is Nvidia and their AI hardware. Analysts say DDR5 demand aren't met completely and DDR4 supply is dropping off causing that to increase in price by 50%.
