Nice, I checked that earlier and it was $340. Thanks you saved me $10.

Yah we only pay 5% here in AB and no shipping bc mem express price matches.

Picked up a CPU, they did $320 for me but not without much hesitation. If you search NCIX for 2600k the sale chip doesnt come up and mem express didnt like that heh. It is only in the sale stuff.

Some short testing got these results:

i7 2600K L040B208
P8P67 Deluxe 1053
2 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B w/Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850rpm

45 x 100 @ 1.248 V (I set one or two notches below 1.25 in BIOS, can't remember exactly), Prime95 1hr stable
47 x 100 @ 1.300 V BIOS, LinX 21 loop stable (random set the voltage but it seems stable)

Now trying to find a comfortable setting for 48 x 100.

EDIT: Seems I need to enable Internal PLL overvolt for 48x100 @ 1.325V otherwise the same settings brings about BSOD very soon. The above overclocks are with the PLL overvolt disabled.

48 x 100 @ 1.325V BIOS, Internal PLL Overvoltage Enabled

EDIT 2:

L040B208 + P8P67 Deluxe 1053 + 2x4GB Vengeance
Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B + Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850RPM
48 x 100 @ 1.335 V BIOS LLC Extreme
VCCSA 0.925
VCCIO 1.075
CPU PLL 1.80
PCH 1.05

BigDogg let's see how much higher you can get! Lots of headroom left :)
For me it seems I'm sticking to 48x100 @ Offset +0.05V, Ultra High LLC on my P8P67 Deluxe 1253.
The system (with a crappy Geforce 310) runs less than 200W full load. My i7 920 w/6950 setup IDLES at 200W. :censored:

The mailman brought me another nice gift today:

Now to figure out what board to pair this one with. These things run so cool I could run a CPU+GPU loop off of a 2x120 rad!

I like the UD7 but I was trying to find some low voltage stable oc's to begin (I am more interested in 24/7 settings then benchies right now). I can get into windows @5Ghz if i remember correctly around 1.36ish Vcore with LLC Level 2 enabled. It takes a lot of juice to jump to 4.5Ghz though like 1.33+ which is odd. I am trying to figure out the tricks but LLC level 2 on the giga seems to help alot at high clocks. I was hoping to get 4.8Ghz on low enough temps to run 24/7. I am intersted to see how low cas I can get with the ram once I figure out my CPU.

I have to install my loop soon (PA120.3, Swiftech XT, 3x1850 GT's, Iandh Stealth Res, MCP655 Pump wtih EK Top, Black Matte Bitspower Compression fittings) and so I can keep the chip cool under higher volts.
