I'll test soon as can see if it makes a difference they should have just tossed plx chips on these higher end boards by default or given more then the 20ish lanes.

Latest firmware resolves issue, only 10% deviation from using the secondary drive instead of 50%, however, Random 4K tests showed nearly a 50% drop on the latest firmware. I did not do a fresh test prior to see if something else may have caused this over the last some months.

A2 -> 66 firmware.
Prolly not buying adata again given their updater/software/firmware is a headache,
I downloaded the update from a 1tb drive that the SSD toolbox claimed needed an update. The 1TB drive will not be detected by their firmware tool lol... I took the same tool to my 2TB drives and both were recognized without issue and updated. Ironically the toolbox kept telling me the 2TB drives do not have any updates when all 3 drives were on A2 firmware and the latest is .66

That sounds like what happened with my old Intel PCIe SSDs they'd release a firmware update but the toolbox wouldn't detect any valid Intel SSDs. So I'd load up a Linux live distro then update manually. Hope next gen gives us enough PCIe lanes for our GPU + storage.

It would help if you moved to server/workstation hardware for such needs. Desktop-level hardware is really for beginners/gamers.

Enterprise vs consumer is the same bullshit from vendors, its the same tech with a slightly more receptive support line, I've dealt with large quantities of hardware at both consumer and enterprise levels. Its all the same aside from the features that may exist between the two tiers.

No TR isn't dead but moved to Pro only for the 5000 series. Can't remember if it's GN or MLID that said you should be able to buy the 5K series TR Pro and board now.

What is also intresting is the range of random 4k tests, I see some super low results and even mine vary from 3k to 1500s and even lower in the tests posted here... I thought the perf tanked by 50% as the post I made on the other forum showed 3000+ for random 4k test where as my updated was around 1500 though if I compare here it was sub 1k... Others also post lower perf on the random 4k test as well.
