Solidigm exits the consumer SSD market

no more P44 Pro or P41 Plus. comment in the article says this is due to 'uncertainty' in the consumer SSD space. there's uncertainty? the only thing I;ve heard is that DRAM and flash memory prices are expected to lower in 2025, but I wouldn't call that uncertainty. :p

First intels sells it off, now it is exiting consumer market... feels more like curse of Intel relationships

That's what came to my mind first. With their prices so low, they're already running on a super slim margin so it's questionable that there'd be enough meat left on the bones for them to be profitable.

A loss for sure. They were good drives for the short time they were a company. Sadly we didn't get as much availability as they did in the USA.
