Hello! I've recently bought new RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) C18 DDR4 3600MHz but according to task manager and ZenTimings the RAM is only running at 2666MHz.

I have enabled DOCP in BIOS and made sure the RAM is in primary slots (A2, B2), I've also tried it in A1 B1. Please let me know if theres something else i have to do to make it run at 3600 MHz.

HARDWARE:
ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F Gaming
Ryzen 7 5800X
Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 2 x 16GB C18 3600MHz

you need to set it in the bios I dont remember the proper name but in the bios ther is a XMP or something but i have always had to manual set it to get the proper frequency also check to see if the board supports that frequency.
sometimes just turning it on like you did and the n let the system figure it out works but I always set it manually

Most boards you don't need a flash drive to up date the bios. I just put the file in c:\temp, go into the bios in the update section and search for it.

Double-checking the BIOS settings for XMP/DOCP profiles might help. Sometimes, adjusting the voltage or updating BIOS can also sort this out. If you've tried that and it's still at 2666MHz, reaching out to Corsair or ASUS support could be a good move. They might have specific steps for your setup to hit that 3600MHz speed.
