SSD and HDD issues

e:\AppData\Local\Temp could not be saved, because an unknown error occurred.

Try saving to a different location.

That is the error I get whenever I try to download something.

Are you clicking "Open" instead of "Save" when you're downloading? Trying pressing save, and saving it on the desktop. If it still doesn't work... try another browser.

Try popping your drive in another computer if you can. Try a different SATA port like everyone's said.

If we are talking about the sig rig, it's a Z68, that question does not apply here. Try a bios reset, switch sata ports around, maybe a bios update if is the case. You can get your gaming rig back, question is are you willing to do a full reinstall of Win on it? Just an idea : try to change the HDD letter in disk management, this is how I got my hdd back after a win7 install that was not seing it anymore, despite being seen in bios and disk management tool.

I am willing to do whatever it takes to get my RIG back, there is nothing irreplaceable on the machine.

The HDD wont fully register in Disk Management so I can not alter the drive letter or partition it. It reads it as being drive 1 (my SSD is drive 0) but it wont even read what the drive is/how big it is.

How would I get and update the install it? Asus site and standard install or something special?

I can get certain things to download but even dling a pic from google works but i can't view it. windows viewer says that it either cant read the file type (standard .jpg) or that i dont have the latest updates for the viewer.

It'll take me a bit to try the drive on another comp as i have no other compatible tech in the house and most of my friends are stuck with laptops because of budgets.

EDIT: I ended up reinstalling windows and everything works fine with my HDD out of the machine. I think it's got corrupted files so I'm gonna see if my warranty covers that at all. Thanks for the help guys.
