SSD Issue - Rather slow Boot Load Times

My intel 320 went kablooey and got a replacement in.

Here is the problem - It is taking the same amount to load from the SSD as it does a normal HDD. I have the controller set to ACHI etc. I have it set to the correct SATA port. Any idea's on the issue?

Motherboard - GA-P55-USB3 (latest release BIOS)
CPU - Intel i5-750 OC'd 3.4 Ghz

are you able to tun some benchmarks to measure the speed? crystaldisk mark is one, and maybe get something to scan the drive for integrity.

Post ur SMART readout, could be bad SATA cable or SATA host causing retries and lower perf. What does AS SSD and Windows Experience Index say for the SSD score?
