Thought I'd post a question here 
I'm playing STALKER v1.0003 now and as I play the screen will freeze for 10-20 seconds then resume - and it does this constantly (a pain in the behind). I'm thinking it's swapping out on GPU RAM but not sure. I use a 8800GTS with 320Mb overclocked to KO levels. I've set the game to "minimum" and 1280x1024 setting to try and reduce RAM requirement and still it will freeze :/
Any hints as to what might be the cause?

I finished the game so not a problem anymore. The problem was particularly bad on only one game map so it might have just been a program glitch there.
