Well it is certainly a glass half full or a glass half empty situation.
If I look at where I would like the game to be, then there's a ways to go yet, biggest thing for me being persistence (queue broken record... I know). But if you look at the progress that has been made over the last two years, it is pretty impressive. Significant moves to increase playability, improve performance, and introduce initial versions of many complex game systems and mechanics.
I still say it'll be worth the wait, I'm certainly hoping given what I've spent, admitting I could be wrong. Personally I think they'll deliver.
