Yeah, I see no reason why this should cause any raised eyebrows aside from the same folks who were scandalized when JJ's nipple was shown on TV, yet strangely didn't seem to question the fact that it was caused by a choreographed move involving ripping the clothes off of a woman...........

I don't much care for graphic/gory violence either...and my primary concern will be those with inappropriate ages being able to access stuff like this. parent's are not likely going to be aware of pornographic material to suddenly be available on a platform that was child friendly, so it introduced a whole new can of worms in needing filters, parental notifications, etc etc etc. :p

I like blowing space ships up...pretty tame on the 'graphic' part for the games I prefer playing. :)

I would think that most parents today are smart enough when it comes to tech. My oldest daughter is 35 this year, she grew up with computers and the outbreak of the internet. She is more than capable of monitoring her kids online time, as well as gaming habits. But, like anything in life, it really is still up to Mom and Dad to have a minor clue what is happening in their kids lives.

How hard is it to open up Steam and check the games list? :) "Hey Dad, can you buy Sex Cyborgs for me on Steam!" :shok::haha:

I'm with Dwayne (for once haha). If a game like Manhunt can be sold, not to mention more conventionally violent games what's the problem with sex. I think if a parent sets up a steam account they can put in parental restrictions, much like with the Xbox store, PS store, eshop etc.

I can't remember where I first heard it, but there's something to be said for that old canard I remember George Carlin mentioning; "i'd rather have my son watch a film with two people making love than two people trying to kill one another".

Eventually there'll be a game that goes beyond cheesy sex simulation and gets into something really dark and some unhealthy ideas about sex. Japan's already got PC games like that and the conversation will rear it's head again, but honestly I don't see this as really a big deal.

Now if you'll excuse me I've, uhhhh, got stuff to do..... for the next fifteen minutes on Steam....

I believe steam even lets you set up parental controls/family accounts?

But yes, end of the day Parents are responsible for...parenting...their child. We've really gotten away from self accountability in our society.

So what, really who really cares if porn is in the PC gaming community, seriously is it going to be much along the same line as mini golf, lol.

GTA series anyone, oh and FC 3 and 4 simulated drug trips and all. I don't defend it or condemn it I just look at it with ambivalence really, games like movies and other adult magazines are age rated for a reason.
