Steam mobile app

Did anyone try the new beta version of the mobile app? I did and now I want to go back to the old one. Can I safely uninstall the beta and reinstall the old version without interrupting my Steam guard status? It's been so long I forget.

Funny enough the app does not allow you to logout when you have steam guard enabled.

I'd grab the recovery code, and then disable steam guard on the account to be extra safe.
