just out of curiosity what were your temps at for your benches killswitch?
At 3.8Ghz with 1.5V and "Auto Xpress" and "CPU Tweak" on, I haven't seen anything over 50*C yet under full load, and it idles at about 36*C. This cooler is wicked! I use Core Temp for my readings. It seems to be the most accurate.
I only run those settings for benches though. I'm usually running the CPU at 3.7Ghz with 1.475V and those other 2 features off for even better temps and more stability.

I also got a run of 17.800 but it rebooted just as i tried to save the screenshot :( Also got several runs of 18.1xx running at 3.8ghz with a 200mhz fsb and the nb and ht running at 2.4ghz, if i had some decent ram i would likely be able to get lower times than this

Here's my best time... settings are not stable, but it did handle 1m and 32m
so that's all that matters for this, right?

Just a hair faster than you redlion.

8.705s

Looks like you are on phase.

That 222bclk wall is a bitch. I am on water and I can bench pretty much everything at the max speed, aside from wprime 1024m.

These gigabyte motherboard along with anything but a classified has this weakness.

Yes..on phase just got it a week before getting i7. Everything installed/insulated...learning about the i7 overclocking etc. I got to 223 once...but I forget how I got it . Prolly lucky boot.

I am on vacation in Saskatoon atm...so no tweakin my SuperPi score. Will be at it again coming sunday or monday.

Yeah I want to go phase too. Problem is this bclk wall makes it pointless unless I get a new processor with a higher multiplier or a new motherboard.
