Hi,

So, if I use an AMD Ryzen 7 8700G in combination with either the TCL QM7 55-inch or the MSI MPG 49" QHD 144Hz will I be able to max out the graphics for both of these monitors with the Rouvy app? The QM7 can use a maximum of 4K and the MSI can use a maximum of 2K.

Do I have this correct?

Unfortunately, what's missing from the available specs is any kind of info on what kind of video stream that app uses. It's almost like they're purposely not making the video refresh rate available for public consumption. There are references to changing the settings for standard / HD based on hardware capabilities, but it's all pretty vague.

I doubt you'd need to push more than 60hz to keep up with the video, and their listed hardware requirements are silly low (something like 10'th gen intel + UHD).

Hi,

I have used the Rouvy app on my laptop with Windows 11. I have to download the particular road route map for each workout and then it plays. The default resolution route maps are 720p; however, the user can download either 1080p or 1440p (2K) route maps. My laptop sometimes stutters with a 2K road map. They do not offer the route maps in 4K yet. I do not know the hz value for the app. It seems a selling feature of Rouvy is compatibility with virtually any type of hardware or OS, so they do not want to label it into a specific box. It would be nice if they provided the maximum settings for Windows users, but I am unable to find anything!
