Big reveal day tomorrow!
AMD GPU's, will they give Nvidea a scare?
Who's geared towards going AMD? I am but will wait for more info before being sure.
Personally hoping for a Aorus 6800 or better?
I like what AMD is doing to counter BOT's! Surely stores and online retailers will get stock?
Anyone else excited, who's going with AMD?

My hope is the come out with a card that does to Nvidia what they did to Intel. However, tomorrow is only the PR launch, it doesn't look like reviews will happen for a while (My guess is ~10th of Nov) :(

I can't use an AMD card as my monitor is G-Sync classic and am I not willing to give up VRR (or spend 900$ on a new monitor lol) but I do wish them well. Hopefully for most people this will be the answer they have been waiting for..

Yeah I think it will be : PR event tomorrow, reviews a day or two before the release (or same day if they want to do that crap), then the release around the 15th.

Call me (thirty)once bitten twice shy.

Based on literally every other release since...a long fucking time ago, I expect their 'high end' card to compete slightly below/at/above the 3070 level, and proably not have the RT/DLSS capabilities required for a stop-gap performance uplift either?

Yeah. I'm not buying in to the hype. But I'll be glad if I'm wrong, and hell, I hope I am.

Well if AMD can't match the 3080 then I guess I can settle for an Aorus 3080 Xtreme. It sucks knowing that todays 10G 3080's will have greater onboard vid ram in the near future:(
Still I would like to think with what they did on the CPU front can be mirrored with their GPU's!

well, if the 355w estimate for TBD is correct, they had better damn well hope it competes. AMD's always lagged...fortunately for them it's never been a FX Bulldozer / Intel Core fiasco.

I am looking forward to seeing how Intel's mobile Xe GPU works out and see if it is a harbinger of future goodness.

From the jaystwocentz video...
6900xt = 3090 for $500 less, 300W
6800xt = 3080 for $50 less, 300W
6800 = 3070/2080ti but more expensive, 250W

Smart Access Memory Rage mode requires 5xxx series AMD cpu to leverage for a slight boost.
