Once they fixed some bugs here and there, especially the random crashing to desktop, and give us the high res. texture they promised us, this game is in line for GOTY imo.

Hehe favourite move: with a warhammer, drop to a crouch and swing. Takes legs out from under mob, then you stand and pound them as they lie there. ow! Still on the first side quest I've found (dragon claw), it''s fairly epic.

Played most of the day yesterday. Love this game. Menu system could use improving, shadows are weird. That's about it for complaints.

Anyone playing this on PC using a PS3 controller? I am looking at setting one up as I heard this game is set up to work well with a controller and then I could play it on the big screen.

just going to say that bethesda promised higher res textures than console, which I think we have so I'm not crosing my fingers for a packs.

however I am waiting for the pc centric ui and menus which are promised along with the mod tools.

so far I am loving skyrim, the graphics are good enough for me think for the most part it is quite pretty. I've screwed my first character a little, wanted to experiment too much. Still easily my goty over deus ex and witcher.

Ok, so I have put a ridiculous amount of time into this game so far and I have only scratched the surface of it. It truly is huge, I just can't state that enough. I haven't even gotten to one whole side of the map yet and having a good time. Like muse said the graphics are good enough to still look good and not be distracting. Just take a look at this aurora and tell me it does not look good.

Oh and yes nothing feels quite as satisfying as taking down a dragon on your own, I just finished off my 4th and here it is.

And my second or third dragon was this one.

Think I need an upgrade yet?

Thinking about maybe a pair of 460s or something.. 550ti's..

I have it on PC, thru Steam, so didn't get any kind of manual. It's worth reading, my son has it in XBox, I read his and learned a ton about game mechanics.
