Agree with your assessment. I will admit I would take the modded Camilla over the stock! lol

Always amazes me though how good modders can make this game look. It'll likely have to go back on my PC again one of these days.
Yeah, some are definitely better, but it feels like a lot of the men are off. I looked at the page for it on Nexus 'Pride of Skyrim' and it's not my jam.

Some of the females are much better, Camilla for example. Some too pretty though, like Delphine.
Looks great (an amazing mod). It does seem like quite a bit is over-brightened though.
I imagine a change of enb or just dialing down the brightness and saturation would fix that pretty easily. For the shots I just went with the default Nolvus settings.

Decided to try the 'Redux' version (aka reduced graphics) and surprised that it doesn't seem like there's a huge difference outisde of the LOD.20241024151413_1 (Custom).jpg

It's a little grainier during movement, guys still look too pretty, but overall it's surprising how good it still looks compared to the 'Ultra' version.

Nolvus released it's V6 of the modlist with some pretty hefty changes. People generally look vastly better and less 'barbie doll'. I've toyed with the 'Ultimate' version using DLSS and lossless scaling. Shots were taken with the Nvidia overlay which is kind of messing with the saturation (bleak falls was much clearer in game, I'll take some others and replace them at some point).

More specific comments; NPCs are vastly better. Camilla is not a plastic 'goddess waifu' but is a more realistic 'cute' now. Delphine is a more 'older adult/ early middle aged'. Idolaf Battle born is no longer a Ken-esque 'Himbo' (he's the guy always trying to buy weapons the first time you enter whiterun). Some NPCs do look a little off though, like Danica pure spring (priestess of Kynareth at Whiterun), or the 'old' maid at Dragonsreach.

More impressively the Nolvus team somehow got an 'open cities' esque mod to work and you get no loading screens going in/out of a city and can see the city through the gates when opened;

Winterhold, gate then opened;

Man oh man you are going to make me reinstall this game!! ;)
I'm installing a separate build using 'Lorerim' right now and I'll post some screens comparing it.

I'll end up making my own list as I don't like the 'let's make Skyrim into Dark Souls' approach many packs are using. Rebalance sure, but I'm not interested in bathing, camping or grinding in Skyrim.

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but it looks like we might finally get to play SkyBlivion sometime this year. banana
