I want this thread to have a purpose and meaning. The spirit of this thread is to help out those who are in need throughout our respective communities. Many have been impacted by natural disasters, illness, scams and other factors that took a large toll in the ability to provide for themselves.

Ideally I'd like us to collectively share the computer parts we can let go to build or upgrade a system to light up someone's day or simply help them function in a digital world.

Ground rules are simple: don't game the system - if you can buy it, you don't need it.

Ideally I would like to see some positive reinforcement of this project and see some pictures of the build and some smiles from the people that we were able to help out.

@anabioz how will charities and children worthy of donations be found, evaluated for need and then equipped if validated? having been on provincial disability a long time ago and now in B2B IT sales, I have many connections to non-profit societies, though not all of them are humanitarian, so might be able to help out if asked.

Much appreciated, at this point I would be relying on people's integrity to do the right thing. Those who have a big heart will do the right thing - only so much I can do.
