Per pizza, some not bad pizza around the Calgary area, i.e., Paul's Pizza Couple places in High River and Okotoks are good too, My Pizza and 2 for 1 in HR and Mama's Restaurant in Okotoks.

Best pizza in Western Canada that I have personally experienced though is Rodos Pizza in Moose Jaw. Hands down best pizza I've had since the early 80's when Franklin's was still a thing in Edmonton.

Sophie's Pizza in Calgary was pretty good IIRC. It's that 'Greek' style pizza in Western Canada; thicker/bready crust (a little thicker than say a pan pizza at pizza hut), tangy tomato sauce.

Have to look that up, yes and Rodos and the others mentioned are as you describe 'greek' main difference I found is the toppings, if the toppings are thicker than the crust all the better. Can't even really describe Rodos, however, the toppings make the za in Moose Jaw. It's like eating something quite unlike a pizza you'd encounter at BP / PH etc.,
