Yep, used a dremel. In retrospect I should have done it in relief (on the back rather than the front).

I've got a few of the old clamshell case covers in the basement, I'll probably paint and mangle one of those just to get some practice.

I'm surprised at the kit.... I was expecting them to be thrown into the box willy nilly with a little bit of sawdust for packing material.

For under $2 they're a retail store package which even includes an instruction manual!

Okay that looks friggin awsome, but instead of a dremal i would get it cut out on vinyl and reverse weed it, then sand blast it, the vinyl will protect the plexi and carve out the design

then bevel out the edges add led's and the design will light right up and just be pimpin
