medical science is examining an Alzheimer's drug for use in putting people into a form of hibernation to slow down organ damage, etc., allowing more time for medical intervention.

SpaceX is going to launch a rocket over the poles instead of the middle latitudes as it's always been before. I wonder if that has anything to do with earths magnetic field.

One Million Checkboxes...

Game developer Nolen Royalty launched his short-lived viral site "One Million Checkboxes" in June. (Any visitor could check or uncheck a box in the grid — which would change how it displayed for every other visitor to the site, in near real-time.) "Within days there were half a million people on the site," he says in a new video, "and people checked over 650 million boxes in the two weeks that I kept the site online."

The secret inside One Million Checkboxes

I honestly never heard of this until you posted it. Basically sounds like an acid/base bath from a TV show or movie but in a controlled manor. Death is surprisingly expensive and I know lots of people that don't like the idea of being buried and would rather be burned. A potentially cheaper option is always welcome.

Found out there is a place in Edmonton that will do this for pets, but it seems like there might still be some red tape around human processing.

Half of Canada lists it as illegal based on this website.

yeah, pretty much an acid bath, though a hell of a lot more water here than they show in the TV shows. and of course it's illegal...they show it on TV, LoL!

death is expensive...but about 20 years ago I bought a funeral plan for $900 that covers all the death certificate stuff, transporting my body to a crematorium and getting me torched. the only thing my loved ones have to worry about is what brand coffee can they want to keep me in. :D
