I feel like somebody was working on something to drop the battery from the car so it could slide away in the event of a collision. This feels like a more extreme version to eject a battery with force lol

/me sees future news articles; granny knocked over by flying battery and then fricasseed because it was on fire. street bbq on 9th and Broadway. bring buns and potato salad!
 
Instead of people exploding telsas in front of buildings drive a car up to the doors and eject the battery through the front doors, then have it go off inside.
 
I don't know what I'll do with it but I kind of want one. Blackhawk helo converted to full UAV cargo hauler with front swing out doors and cargo ramp. They are calling it a U-Hawk.

that is pretty nifty! I wonder how much penetration this would / could get into the civilian market as it would have a lot of uses for disaster relief when the USAM isn't involved.
