Likely under the influence when he came up with that plan. But in all seriousness... had he taken a little more time to draw that out correctly it likely wouldn't have as easily caught the attention of officers especially on a moving vehicle. But since it is drawn so badly it probably stands out more than not having a plate at all.

I'd suspect OPP run plates automatically or extremely frequently given how many fake plate incidents there's been over the years.

You're right that if you at least had a half decent fake you'd probably get less attention and at least lower the chance of non-cops noticing it and calling it in.

Meth-heads aren't really renown for their foresight though.
