The 'What are you watching' Thread

I started to watch a show called allegiance and realized that it is supposed to be from my old stomping grounds of Surrey the funy thing about the show is the y are showing and talking about other areas like Belcarra ( across the fraser river through Coquitlam and into Ioco about 10 mile crow flies at least a 30-mile drive) and such its a basic cope show and well Surrey BC is very large I think its the largest municipality of Canada, but I may be wrong , anyway they show cops patrolling in say the whalley area whic his l;ike 104\ what was called King George hwy , then there is a call on the radio saying the need cops at 60th and 120 whic his a best speed about 20 minute drive and I am talking about running lights and probably averaging 100km\h anyway they cops reply we are right around the corner lol but a fair amount of the show is shot in what I call Whalley world the show really confirmed out overexaggerated manyof these type shows are

Watching “Alone”. I kind of like it for being more real reality tv than almost anything else I have watched. Actual survival, no annoying host, some people you like/some you don’t like/and some you grow to like.

Edit: I should add that season 1 (2015 release) was done on Vancouver Island.

I like it for the same reason. There's still some overhyped drama in there, but not as bad as Mountain Men, which my wife and I also used to watch. I tend to only get the seasons of Alone that have someone from Saskatchewan in them, to provide a level of local interest for me, but I'm sure they're all about the same level of entertaining.

I watched this when they were on Vancouver Island . I remember when people I knew years back who used to watch that stupid show survivor which I could tell right away it was BS but I always said let's see them try to survive in a BC wilderness
Spoilers here
not one person made it to the end. I chuckled a few times , the rain making people upset wanting to quit, and also when I think it was two brothers that were supposed survivalist that freaked out because of bears lol I think the only person that could have made it was the woman who was a naturalist that apparently had MS but her MS flared up so she had to be flown off I think out of all the people I have seen on that show she seemed to know what she was doing and more to the point didnt freak out when she spotted the black bear hanging around .

which one? there are two versions out right now.
is there? I didn't know that.
I did force myself to get through the whole season, and just the basic logistics made the show pretty bad. I am sure that I have figured out what is truly going on with in the first three eps.
But there isn't really anything on that I can find that seems interesting.
