Somewhere around 15 minutes of the most recent Hellboy. We were waiting for the "real" movie to start as the beginning looked/sounded/felt like one of those satire style cut scenes depicting some director/author's tv/movie script, but finally gave up when it became clear that the whole movie was going to be like that.l

Accountant 2.

this would be an excellent TV series. the first one was great...this one...YMMV.
Bernthal ruins- all. Absolutely can't stand him, and his "Punisher" is a laughable bloodthirsty maniac that a Real Punisher (Tom Jane) would go out of his way to silence. 🤣👍🤷‍♂️

I also don't care for Bernthal I would probably start laughing at him if I was watching him film that character and then would get kicked off the set

He turned a unique complex anti- hero into an "American icon" for violence. I was rolling my eyes so hard at "always buy american" and playing chicken with two mustangs that they started hurting in their sockets.

Let's just say, he plays a loser/thug well and nothing else. Typecast because he's that "type".

Was that the one with the guy from Stranger things from a few years ago, or have they come out with another Hellboy movie in the last year or so?

No, Guillermo del Toro had no association with the 2019 and 2024 movies (afaik), and it kinda show.

Good news though! He IS returning to the franchise WITH Ron Perlman returning as hellboy as well, Hellboy 3 confirmed! A direct sequel to the pairs last movie, from 2008!
