It doesn't happen every time. Yesterday I couldn't reproduce the problem. It seems the problem tends to happen if the computer has been turned off for hours... i.e. this morning (after a full shutdown) it booted straight to BIOS, this time I kept my eye on the prize and it literally just booted into BIOS and I hit F10 (no changes to save) and it booted into windows like normal. When I try restarting or just shut down and power it back up within a minuted I haven't had it boot straight into BIOS yet.

That sounds very similar to the problem I had, except my system doesn't boot to BIOS. A fresh install followed by latest chipset drivers solved it for me. It may not for you.

I linked that reddit thread because you mentioned multiple drives in the system. These interactions between UEFI and Windows are not great
sometimes. I was setting power plan to "high performance" with sleep/hibernate/monitor_off all disabled.

This happened because I just did a fresh install of windows... lol. I also updated the BIOS and the chipset drivers at the same time.

Well that's interesting. My board was updated to the latest Win 11 ready BIOS when I got it. I'm running an older Win 10 version and latest chipset drivers. At least you can get to the OS by pressing F10, which I could not. These UEFI/Windows interactions are a challenge it seems.

You could try rolling back one at a time.

For now I'll just deal with the whole pressing F10 after it boots to BIOS because this problem just seems to be too complicated to be worth the brain power
