Thinking about folks being evacuated

Seeing that the folks in Fort McMurray and parts of BC have been ordered to evacuate. Not sure how many HWCers are impacted or are likely to be impacted but good luck and thinking about everyone. Take care

Yes I can't imagine what that must feel like, my house is my sanctuary.

Last year with the fires I had about 12 people in the house from the Drayton area. With the notices to prep in Ft Mc I started cleaning up the basement as I know quite a few people up there as well and already reach out to them to show up here if they are forced out and need somewhere to stay.

If you know anyone in fire zones tell them to check this out. When you're evacuated you can either leave the box of stuff at your front door or set it up yourself before you leave. Excellent solution.

Yeah might be a long summer. I'd personally invest in one of those sprinklers clshades mentioned above if they help at all.

kidding aside, the TV 'belongs' to my FiL and because he's so deaf it's on mute most of the time because he needs it so loud it causes ears to bleed and he still doesn't hear much. that and for news he only wants BBC.
