My Dell G15 5515 display is a FHD 15.6" and the Arzopa I just got is also a FHD 15.6", however, I noticed the Arzopa seemed to have larger text, the task bar was thicker, etc. checking the display settings, scale for the Dell screen is 125% (recommended) but for the Arzopa, it said 150% (recommended). that befuddles me. what would cause the scale recommendations to be different to otherwise identical panels? well, almost identical...both are FHD, IPS and 250 nits, to the Arzopa is appears to be brighter. the only differene is the refresh rate, 120hz for the Dell and 60hz for the Arzopa.

The only reason I can think of is some sort of info being sent by each monitor to the PC via EDID. Just as monitors tell the PC what resolutions and refresh rates they support, perhaps there's something in the EDID that tells windows which scaling "looks best".
