TT Mozart TX???

Heh..... I'm pretty damn close to drooling....... :)

Legion Hardware

In case anybody is wondering why I'm so impressed with the dual setup this allows...... I stream my music from my computer to my stereo amp using the napster subscription service, and newer games don't particularly like having another app taking up bandwidth, so I'm pretty well stuck with either FM or CDs while I'm playing Oblivion.

I've been considering putting together a second PC in an HTPC case for this reason alone, but this case would do away with that completely.........

I think it's pretty cool:thumb: The fact that you can have 2 fully functional pc's operating at the same time independently..... i like's... lol. If it's set up in an HTPC enviroment you could cool it with a Zalman resorator or Tt Symphony. I am thinking about getting the Mozart HTPC case with the media lab included. It's a little large but it accepts atx mobo and standard psu:biggrin: The Tx comes with ir without a window also.....nice:biggrin:

Heh.... this is still in the "if I win the lottery" or "if I get a decent claim from my course in Camp Borden this fall" catagory.

The case alone would be close to $300+tax, throw in new WC gear, a mitx board + chip, and the 5 1/4 bay PSU for the mitx and we're probably talking at least $600 - $700 using my current (and soon to be shipped....) cpu and mobo.

That kind of discretionary spending only comes my way during a really good tax return or a back pay situation.

I can dream though..... :)

Dreaming is right, i once considered buying this case for the same reason, having a mini-itx system integrated with my main one would T3h awsome. BUT there are a couple important points that made my decide against it. #1 - The itx motherboard is oriented in the wrong direction meaning that the connections on the motherboard are facing the front of the case rather than the back (really really messy to get those wires out). #2) The cost of putting an itx system in a case like that is excessive.... 600-700 dollars is being very optimistic.... I think when i calculated it all out (itx mobo, psu, kvm switch, cables, hard drive, optical drive, etc) it came out to about $1000 or more... Yikes!!! So i wouldnt really suggest it...

its not mobo alone actually, id say about 90% of all itx systems have integrated processors (600-800mhz and up) and integrated graphics as well (vga). Still too expensive tho...
