1.5 million threads is a bit of an exaggeration...it's actually a hair less. almost 12K 64 core Rome CPU's!

certain tasks being 11x faster than the super computer its replacing is pretty damn impressive, that would have to be heavily multi-thread optimized to get those kind of gains for a single task. But thinking of it the other way doesn't this mean it could more potentially run 11x the workload and keep the same performance greatly increasing the amount of people able to access it at one time.
