add a female - female coupler? Are you sure about how the proprietary cable is wired though?

It shouldn't be proprietary, since its gotta be wired out as standard stereo to plug in to the QC25's....right? :unsure:

That's a whole lot of assumptions there. If you had the original connector it'd be relatively easy to confirm, but who knows if it's a standard connector, or something with extra contacts which are used for the 5v usb power while leaving the standard audio connector contacts intact.

For essentially <$10 (10 usb/male charger +10 for female to female ), you're probably right, not worth blowing up the $70 device.

I'll just get the proper one. Glad I bounced this off you guys.
