To be fair, the Euro is trading very poorly of late. I think generally it was 20% higher than USD, now it's 5% under?

I have seen 3090s for $900. Is it worth the $200 for new? I think that unless I knew for 100% the origin of the 3090 was good, I'd go for the new one.

Unfortunately GPU purchases right now are all a roll of the dice, so I would hate to sway you the wrong way. Prices are down/dropping on the used market because of the sale of mining rigs...whether they will keep dropping as demand lifts or plateau, and whether new GPUS drop used prices further or not is just a guess at this point.

That all said, I personally wouldn't spend 1100 on a soon to be last gen GPU. Whether or not that is the "right" thought or not, I have no idea.

The performance of the new gen comparative to the last gen will drive the used market, ESPECIALLY with the amount of cards out there.

If a 4070 = 3090, and the 4070 is $1200, then your used market is going to realistically be 1000 for a 3090. If supply of 3090's is excessive, then that will be lower.
