Using reset switch as power?

I have one older system -- an EVGA 680i mobo in a Silverstone TJ10 -- where the power switch has finally gone to PC heaven. I'll be building something new soon, but until then, can I just put the case's reset button wiring on the mobo's power switch header and use the reset button as the power switch?

Thanks.

As others have said, it's perfectly fine.

Both the reset and power switch are broken on my Fractal Define R5. So I use wake-on-lan via my phone.
It might be time to splurge on a new case...or at a minimum a new button.

Working on one.

Just has been a while since I've actually touched it as I've worked on different projects. :(
