Valve Linux bringing Steam and Left 4 Dead 2 to Ubuntu

Issue is that the games need to support OpenGL as implementing D3D libraries into Linux just is not going to happen especially Dx10 and Dx11.

If the game can be written or ported to support OpenGL this is a open and shut case.

Portal 2 is available on Mac IIRC, so it shouldn't be rocket science to offer some of their other titles on ubuntu (HL2, CS, etc). I'm not sure about games from other developers though.

lol Linux is awesome but will take decades to even dent Windows. Not enough people know about it and Linux is barely supported for most hardware let alone games.
