ok i need a water block what will fit this card ?

real custom

that card is custom so non-reference best option is Hydro Series HG10 N980 GPU Liquid Cooling Bracket

note: copy the stock evga heatsink for the memory and regulators

or just take dremel to GPU area and add your own water block

seems EK saying its a screw-on but seeing is believing double check the ram and regulators are touching proper against your stock fan cover heatsink before using

otherwise will see this happen chips just melt off the card then DOA

so my 780 water block should work as long as i make sure all chips are under water block ???
sorryr new to stripping a water block and installing onto another card :)

ok i have a venier but what tolerances am i checking ?
the gap between the caps ? if any etc etc ? or the lenth of the cooling area from the 780 to the 980 ti ?
sorry have never installed a water block on a vid card before ,let alone strip one and reinstall on another card?


is there any thermal pads needed or will tim be enough ?

use playdoh as gauge

a dab on chip(s) then assemble heatsink

then remove heatsink and see the dabs if flatten or thick

get a mini screw driver set from Canadian tire

a egg carton and post notes the removed screws place in a egg hole and stick a note where it came from
