So I decided like a idiot to clear my ssd's and put them in raid. Shoulda listen if it ain't broke don't touch but i didn't. So my 2 850 pro 256Gb were set to raid in bios then I created the raid array on the intel ports. All fine dandy I install win 8.1 Pro great it installed.

1.Installed latest intel chipset drivers, rebooted
2.Installed irst drivers rebooted
3.Installed ime engine rebooted
4.this is were bat sht crazy stuff started happening. I tried to go to nvidia's site to grab latest drivers but all that happens is I click download it has loading animation circle on mouse for a second then nothing.

I try again something nothing happens so I thought ok issue with ie. So I go to download chrome click download button the lil window opens like it's trying to install instead it stays blank so I close try again same thing.

So I try go to fire fox site click download same issue as nvidia site I can't seem to get any link to open to download software and this is from a freshly secure erased ssd array.

So I tinker in bios turn off csm and secure boot set to other Os. Boots to desktop I head over to download nvidia driver success the window opens to let me save it somewhere I i try choose driver folder I put on desktop soon as I select a diff location the window stops responding. I hit cancel it responds till I try direct the file again it stops responding. Not sure why this is causing so much hassle.

So I secure erased drives again put them back into 2 single drives reinstall windows same issues happening. Not sure why but I'm thinking my USB install of win 8.1 Pro is corrupted because it's also auto choosing the user name for user folder. Anyone know how I should properly setup bios to keep drives in raid 0? Should I use csm and set secure boot to windows UEFI? Or can I disable those still install Windows in UEFI mode because no matter what I try win 7 will not detect drives when trying to install in UEFI mode.

It did during setup then I tried without as well but cant seem to figure how or what is stopping.g links from opening on any site. I'm thinking it's my Os on USB stick I can use my htpc since desktop isn't in a usable state right now I just wanted to see raid o would yield better performance then samsung rapid mode plus wanted drives combined. But honestly never seen a issue like this in all my 25 ish years right from clean install with and without Internet and with without chipset drives installed.
