@Shadowmeph well if you're missing some prime bits or whatever send me a PM and we can work it out so I can gift you some parts or trade on-game for them (you can trade something with zero value like a mod for a prime part no problem). As for killing elites and bosses? Yeah... wiki time. There are certain metas and combos required to cut through bigger enemies. Some of them can cut down level capped enemies (I think they reach level 999?) pretty damn fast, but I don't think that style of gameplay is very fun. I like variety and Not being forced into Meta Builds. Thankfully for regular and stell path -level stuff, most of my weird builds worked for me.

But yeah, like Warframe, nothing is explained in-game for Soulframe. Pretty sad that DE devs are so focused on lore/"uniqueness" that the game becomes so convoluted and confusing to the point of Requiring an external wiki to understand it all.

After finishing the FFXIII trilogy I'm back on Avowed and really liking it. The combat and exploration are a notable improvement over Skyrim/Greedfall/Gothic. The 'vertical' aspect works much better than most FPS.

The side quests are falling short of the highs of Pillars, New Vegas or Witcher 3. A lot of conversations where an NPC speaks with you about a problem just kind of ... end. You make a suggestion to the NPC and they respond with "Oh ok then" and it's functionally over. In one where you're helping a couple acquire a farm you have to find a troublesome land agent in the city. You find his corpse, murdered, and take the deed and .... that's it for that part. No lead into a murder mystery or deeper plot. Just take the loot of the corpse and that's it.

Another you come across an overzealous guard that murdered a mugger, you approach her and using my character's background say "I need more information before passing judgement" and she responds with "I agree, you get it" ..... and that's it.

It's probably my only complaint so far. I've only explored about half of the first city, so I'm hoping most quests get fleshed out more.

I loved Gothic and Skyrim I still occasionally play Skyrim which mine is hugely modded and a real pain to do without paying for it . I think it was either Skyrim may be gothic that was the first game I played when it first came out that the water reflected which really impressed me
on a different note I am searching for that old Star Trek game I think it was the 25th anniversary one that was out before the internet early mid maybe late 1990s that I think l is the only game that I have never beat I got to the end and was fighting the enterprise and kept being destroyed .
when Iwas playing Doom 2 ( which was a pain to run through windows because it was a Dos game) which was around the same time as the Star Tek game I remember I fought to the very end and killed everything at the end but the game bugged out and Couldn't finish the game so I had to start from scratch play through everything got to the end killed everything, and it happened again , so I did it all a third time and it finally didn't bug. I miss those old gaming days sure compared to now the graphics were terrible but back then they were great and a lot of fun to play.

Star Citizen!!! I know crazy eh? Nice to be able to list it here rather than just in its dedicated thread.

Participated in an Org event Saturday night to complete the three phase of the current "Supply or Die" event in the overall phase 3 of "Save Stanton" and earn the in game rewards. Sixteen of us working together in three separate teams:

1. A combat team "soft killing" high level bounty targets (NPC contracts) so we could salvage the ships and harvest the required cargo;
2. A salvage team for salvaging the materials off the "soft killed" ships, I was on this team; and
3. A cargo team running the harvested cargo and salvage materials back to the required stations to turn in and complete the contracts and earn the points for the event.

Played for over 3.5 hours, and everything worked very well. We were able to complete the contracts enough times that all our player completed the event.

We had a few smaller issues where one guy seemed unable to accept the shared contracts when they were sent out by the team leaders, and he also had issues seeing player markers even though he was in the party. But he was the outlier. We supplied him the require materials and cargo afterwards so he could complete the event.

Great time, lot of laughs, and great to see the game coming into all the parts we've wanted for a long time, not to mention being stable and not wigging out at the most inconvenient moments! 2025 for gameplay and stability is off to a good start.

I'm playing Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree—the new DLC is brutal but amazing! Unfortunately, I can't share screenshots here, but the boss fights and world design are stunning.
I still have to go far enough in the initial Elden Ring to justify buying the DLC lol One of these days!

I dont likme tha tgame paid top dollar for it going by the hype installed played maybe 30 minutes uninstalled the game tried t oget my money back but nope top me the game is way overhyped but I think I am one of the very rare few people that think this way.
Started playing dragon age veilguard, its ok I guess I have to space it through all the terrible speeches and stuff. Taking a break from POE2 because my warrior even though is level 45 and still in normal should be able to kill d at the end of act 3 easily well I cant so every day Itry a few times and then just turn off the game I have never been good at the warrior type characters in most games they are too clunky slow and awkward for me

It's not for everyone, Elden Ring I mean (well neither is Dragon Age: Veilguard either for that matter) but I love it even though I find it very challenging.

Any games that are apparently more for a controller I cant do very well I think the only game I have played allot years back was FF7 which is a controller based game I used to love playing Dark souls many years ago then it Came out on console ( if I remember correctly) then they started to do PC versions and well I couldnt play any of those types of games which sucks .
Also sucks that Flight Sims you need a controller which I bought, but I have know where to place it so I can fly hehe you see my Gaming PC is connected to my TV and well my TV is in front of the Chesterfield which has no table in front of it lol so I think that I already said that the game sucks for me .not that any of those are bad games it's me .. wow I sound like I am a teen and I am breaking up with someone it's not you its me thing

I played Elden Ring with both. I still prefer keyboard/mouse in it over controller, even though there are certain benefits to controller.
