What game are you currently playing? (Screenshots if possible pls)

Played a bit more of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 today.

Damn, this is a hell of a game so far. It's what Square Enix has been missing over the last decade
- Adult characters with no token annoying kid? Check
- Turn-based with a timing mechanic to make it a little more interactive? Check
- Unique story and not tired anime tropes? Check
- No 'Nomura-esque' story that totally incomprehensible? Check

Don't get me wrong I can enjoy a trope-y JRPG if it's done well, such as Trails, but SE's been pretty lacking since FF X in their AAA RPGs and it's nice to see this turning out so well. Like BG3 reversed the 'turn-based CRPGs are dying' nonsense, I hope this does the same for JRPGs.

I'm still pretty early, but hopeful there's a lot to like here already. It is very 'hallway' like X (but not as bad as FFXIII), and the systems can seem a little overwhelming at first, but things get broken down and explained in a good enough pace to let you wrap your head around the battle system.
It's definitely moving towards the top of my buy next list.

Splitting my time between several games. With the wife it is Helldivers 2 and Void Crew, depending on what people we have on/around. Neither of us like/want to be the pilot in Void Crew so we have to wait for the one person who does to be on/around.

By myself, I have been replaying a bunch of the Fallout games. Did A Tale of the Two Wastelands recently, which essentially puts Fallout 3 inside of Fallout New Vegas and allows you to travel between the location of the two games on the same character. With that beat I've continued the trend and am replaying Fallout 4 in its entirety as it looks like Bethesda has added some extra content to the game throughout the years.

I have been playing Starfield this time I have been power levelling followed someone's guide kind of sort of followed there guide would be more accurate lol was am doing the whole mining and building frames and I don't remember the name of the other thing sleeping a few hours and rinse repeating on some far away planet which the sleeping 6 hours is over 200 hours the huge issues is selling all those frames and such because the sellers only have like 4 k I needed to find a mod that made it so the sellers have more money , I ended up with about 800000, so I built my ship which cost me over half of that.
Now I need weapons and other gear, so I don't die to easily, also need to actually find a civilian encampment on Venus which I haven't had any liuk finding that buys sells things so that since now I am pretty much maxed at the building outpost stuff I can build close to one of those places and sell things make even more money
did all of the above before I even started the story line, I just went into the lodge told what's her name that I needed some time while I did all of this , over the last two days I am currently level 200 and have levels up all my piloting skills to build a killer ship now I think it will almost be time to start playing the game and doing the stories side quests lol

Don't know if there's a demo out, but even the steam 2hr return window should give you a good taste of if it'd be your jam.

I'm liking it more than Avowed, Indiana Jones, or anything else new or new-ish I've played this year.

Holy shit, got to Act II for Clair Obscur tonight and this is looking like it's GOTY for me. Don't want to spoil anything but for anyone giving it a try, if you're on the fence, try to make it to Act II.

I'm going slowly but it is certainly the best new game I have playing in a good amount of time. Really enjoying it

ugg ok so now my starfield game is totally bugged my ship doesnt steer for some strange reason I have tried everything I can think of even searchd for answers went back a few saves all of those hours I spent leveling and getting decent things building a great ship may now have been wasted because I cannt steer my ship lol

Finished Ys VIII tonight, what a great game!

If you like action RPG, give it a shot. Story is sci fi a bit (castaway on some remote island, where extinct dinosaurs still roam), gameplay is very fun, characters are lovable. Easy to pickup too.

I've had that on my 'to play' list for a while.

Finished every main YS up to VII and started the 'Forest of Celecta', but didn't finish it and haven't gotten back to it (I'd have to start over again).

Love the series, but I do wish they'd ditch the 'modern anime' design for Adol. I liked that he had an 'old school' basic clothes and simple armor even in 'Ark of Napishtim'. It's a classic 'old school' series for me and seeing it ditch the visual design to me would be like Dragon Quest ditching the Toriyama look.
(Highly 'opinion' though, and realize some people probably prefer the modern look)
