What game are you currently playing? (Screenshots if possible pls)

Finished Clair Obscure Expedition 33 on Friday.

What a wild ride. This is hands down the game of the year for me. It's right up there with Witcher 3, Mass Effect for quality of 'the journey'. Can't wait to see what the studio comes up with next.

Highly recommend. Graphically gorgeous, great voice actors, the writing is top-notch without a hint of cringe or forced dialogue, battle systems is both accessible and potentially complicated. One of the best soundtracks since FFX. Tons of late game content for hidden bosses or levels that you don't need to do to finish the last boss but can. Game is a damn masterpiece.
oh man to bad its turnbased the only game I liked that was turn based was Final Fantasy 7 I may wait a long while until the rpice of this game drops allot before I buy it to see if I like it I dont want what happened to me to happen again when I bought Eldin ring when it lunched something lie 90cad and just hated it lol

This is insanely high praise. Maybe I need to give Game Pass another go just to play through it.
Knowing your game tastes, I think it's very likely you'll really enjoy it. Always a chance you won't, but this is the kind of game Square Enix should have been making post FFX instead of steering in the direction of XIII, XV, etc.

It's very different than W3, ME or FFX, but it feels like a AAA RPG developers Magnum Opus and not the first title of a AA or Indie dev. It's nuts. It's not the kind of game I'll play through time after time like Skyrim, ME or Chrono Trigger, but it's a game that'll leave an impact I'll never forget. If I had to compare it to a movie... maybe Lawrence of Arabia (or the Godfather for others)? It's not something I'll sit through and watch again anytime soon, but the first time I watched it I thought "Wow, I get the hype. That was a masterpiece"

It's much closer to your FF7-10 in experience than the other titles, with a much more mature and paced story. Can't say for sure you'll love it, but it's worth a shot on sale without a doubt (and worth more than most games charging $80+ bucks nowadays).

I also hated Elden Ring haha. Found it glacially boring. Whereas some other soulslike I've enjoyed, but ER was really dull for me (not in a "it's a bad game" way, but it's clearly not for me).

Still working on the Oblivion Remastered playthrough..... Sheogorath looks amazing! :)

Still has the carry through bug on the amulet prize levelling though. :(

Debating whether I'm just going to console the proper one in.

Well I'm already several hours in to it, playing late at night. After the first few cut scenes, it definitely had me. (That first major scene tore my damn heart out.) The story so far has been very intriguing, and the combat is an excellent combination of turn-base and interactivity. So far it's definitely holding up to your praise. Worth the price of GamePass all on it's own for sure.

I had to make some adjustments to video settings to clear up the imaging though. All the post processing needed to be turned off as it really does the game an injustice, and I also downloaded the sharpness 'fix' available online. These helped a lot. The only thing remaining that's odd to me is the aggressive background blur that has a hard time edging around character hairlines. It's only really noticeable during rendered cut scenes, but I can't help but see it. I found some people talking online about turning off the blur, but there's nowhere on the PC to do that. At least not that I can find. It kind of looks like when you add bokeh to a cell photo after taking it, and the software has a tough time with the edges of the hair.

Felt like something a bit different last night so I (finally) made a custom character in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. Yet another game I bought a long while ago and never played.

Character creation was very cool and even the UI seems very will thought out. There's a lot of info and lore in Warhammer 40K clearly, and this game does a good job of helping you get up to speed on it at an as needed pace. They even added hover over or hyperlinks in the dialogs so you could get more info on what an NPC is talking about. Not the story, but tech items they mention, or battles or other historical references, or other lore characters, etc. Clever addition I thought.

It's quite well loved, with a new DLC on the way end of Jun I believe. I haven't played much yet but I was impressed with it so far. Turn based combat CRPG made by Owlcat Games, same company that made Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and apparently they just announced an RPG based in The Expanse setting (y)

Gave Robocop Rogue City a try over the weekend.

It's decidedly a AA game. The visuals are fine, but the mocap isn't great, the voice actors are pretty poor and the writing won't be bringing any awards home. It's a neat take though and while it's not a masterpiece, it's a 'decent enough' shooter with a unique playstyle due to being the tank-ish Murphy. It keeps the 'future corporate dystopia' aspect of the film, but kind skips the over the top satire that was present unfortunately.

You do get an achievement for shooting an enemy in a 'sensitive area' a-la a famous scene from the movie which gave me a chuckle.

Cheap enough ($20 or below) I'd say it's worth it. Not at $50-60 though (I'm not sure what the normal price is)

Warhammer 40,000
I've been heavy into WH Darktide since December. Two other friends got it and it's got that appeal like Left4Dead had back when it came out: short frantic coop missions that force you to play as a team or your survivability goes way down. I must remember to post up screens here.
