wait,so nothing to fill up the void? hmmmm

what happens when those start going?

The void you see is the gap between the failed footing and the concrete foundation wall.There is no point in filling that gap, I've replaced the footing with my pilings.The footings irrelevant now.

I am even more impressed now...lifting the whole house off the footing. I don't even want to think about the effort involved. Especially since you can't go lift one side of the house, then jack the other side up to level. Are the cracks from the original settling and shifting before you guys went to work?

Interesting work you do Braineater, everyday is different. Being your work is submerged I would have thought you go for a dry build ;) which is as interesting and complicated as your work is. :) Very nice pictures giving a real understanding of what is involved.

I (we) have pushed more than 3 1/2 miles of pipe into the ground this year !!
6 inches at a time.
