What to do with a leaky dehumidifier?

Heya HWC,

I am decommissioning a dehumidifier because the container leaks, but the motor and what not works fine and dandy.

Instead of chucking it away, what can I do with it?

Thanks,
Jcmaz

What is the material of the container.
Where does it leak.

There are sealants available for your condition.

It's made of plastic. The container itself isn't leaky, but somehow water leaks out from the gaps.

Is it possible to retrofit it to become a air cooler/conditioner?

note that what it is a/c = dehumidifier

just anti-freeze for coolant for coil goes to -10c on most units
