what's happened to boot sequence?

There have been a few youtube channels who have drastically reduced their content. ChrisFix for example produced what seems to be a total of 3 videos for all of 2024 and he didn't even make his annual christmas gift idea video that I was looking forward to.

mmm...not familiar with ChrisFX. BS last vid was 10 months ago... :(

Looking at the view count for their last few vids I suspect they weren't generating enough revenue to make it worth while. Most videos were sub 10K views. Others in the teens. They did seem to have a few over 100K, largely keyboard switch or GPU stuff, but not that many compared to the 6-8K views.

Compare that to an average HWC (50K to 150K+) or Gamers Nexus (300k for low, several million for high), and I doubt it was bringing in enough money to stick around.

mmm...I didn't look at viewership numbers, but yeh...if it's not financially feasible and not a passion project, why continue? their vids were very polished...makes me sad. :(
