I know this thread is pretty old,but I was wondering what are you planning on doing with a PCIE 5.0 ssd.

If you want my honest opinion and I would buy a PCIE 5.0 ssd,unless your running software for workload that is maxing it out somehow and even then I can't see 99% of the people being able to do that.

If you want a really good Gen 4 ssd that doesn't run really hot look at the Team Group MP44,the 1TB model has a 1450TBW rating which means you can fill it and delete 1450 times before it's supposed to lock and go into safe read only mode,if you ever want to find out the TBW endurance rating on an ssd your interested in buying try googling the model of ssd and then type in toms hardware review they also post the TBW rating.
