I dont think it will affect anything. It looks small and it could probably be pushed down in fron of the pcie slot. to me it looks like it might be a fan or rgb cable for the nvme heatsink.

1. Why would you have to return a GPU over a MOB cable?
2. The cable will be covered by the GPU, so you aren't going to see it
3. I don't actually know for sure what it is for. ITX always has unique routing/setup/secondary boards/etc when they jam a bunch of things in. My best guess based on it being 4 pin and routing would be as @crazyea said...a fan to active cool the ssd or for heatsink RGB.

Sorry cable bottom left near PCIe. I'd have to return the GPU since this is would be the 2nd board it wasn't compatible with because they decided to slap a far cap at beginning of the PCIe slot.

@crazyea Ty I was thinking that I don't see it on the diagram so hopefully it's just that I won't be using the nvme heatsink.

Not sure it lines up correctly, schematic to image, but is it connected to M_BIOS connector?

If yes, online I found:
"The M_BIOS connector allows you to update the BIOS firmware on your ASUS motherboard even if your system is unable to boot or if the current BIOS version is incompatible with the update process."

If that's what it is, would it even need to be connected at all if you weren't flashing the BIOS?

I'd just update the regular way soon as it arrives I'll update hete what this is I'm hoping it's just the nvme RGB or something.

@Lysrin I seen that on diagram and thought wth it looks up go to the mbios.

*Edit the "M_BIOS" cable on your motherboard, if it exists, is likely for connecting a BIOS flashing tool or a dedicated BIOS chip for flashing purposes.

Actually to power a fan built into the heatsink. As long as the cable is tucked underneath it in no way should interfere with a GPU. You can see from this clip from a random video i found it is really low. Even lower than the plastic guard for the IO shield/mounting point and whatnot.
